Introduction
We are a privately owned fishing bait manufacturer located in Slidell, Louisiana. We specialize in soft plastic baits that come in a variety of molds and colors, including a glitter option. Sizes range from 3in - 7in. We have standard colors that include Flippin Blue, Green Pumpkin, Watermelon, and June Bug. We have other color options available upon request.
About the Owner
I’m Steve Ruschmeier, owner and founder of Bend Me Over Baits. Married to my biggest supporter, my wife, Kim for 45 years. I am an avid bass fisherman and have fished many club tournaments over the last 40 years. I started fishing at an early age with my father and continued the tradition with my wife and son. I am happy to share my love for fishing by creating handcrafted baits for my fellow anglers.
2021 Sealy Outdoors Big Bass Splash Toledo Bend Champion
On the 2nd hour of day 1 of a 3 day tournament, I weighed in a 9.87 lb bass. Over the next two days, there were a few close weigh-ins, but I was able to take the championship title. Not only did I win cash prizes, I was able to drive home with a 2021 Dodge Ram, towing a 2021 Triton 19 TRX. The entire experience was one I will never forget.
Family Tradition
At the young age of 6, I began fishing with my father. Today, he is 85 years old but still going strong and looks forward to going fishing. The picture above, is he and I enjoying our time together doing what we love most. Thankful that I can continue to fish with him.
